Seek the Woman!

"Cherchez la femme" is an expression that does not translate well from French to English. Literally, this phrase translates as "look for the woman." Its meaning in French, though, is quite a bit more nuanced. In English, this expression actually means the "same problem as ever," similar to the expression, "go figure." However, that is not the meaning native French speakers are conveying when they use the phrase. The French meaning implies that no matter what the problem may be, a woman is often the cause. Look for the mistress, jealous wife, or angry lover: A woman is at the root of each problem!
Here is what Vitvan had to say when he referred to Napoleon in our lesson today:
"... after we have lived under a natural order teaching for several hundred years we will learn more about the Mother. Her perfection, her dharma, is to bring forth, to provide the substance to be used by the Positive Power. The man, representing the Positive Power, must have that substance with which to create as the individualizing process continues.
It is my opinion that no woman is happy until she finds a man to whom she can flow her force and influence. But when she enters that partnership she expects that force and influence to be used constructively. Her individuality is outraged when she flows that force to a man and then he piddles it around. She will withdraw her force until the proper harmony can again be achieved.
For years I have read history with this background of the natural order teaching in mind. From the moment that Napoleon put Josephine away he went down in power and influence. The French have a phrase, "cherchez la femme." Read history and search out the woman and her influence on the crucial turning points in our planetary development.
In our esoteric Bible studies we read, “Marriages are made in heaven.” When a man and woman are united in the flow of the creative Power, that is a marriage, and according to the Bible, it is made on a higher level of consciousness. It is made in heaven..."
